About the position

As an Associate Attorney in our Environmental Law practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our team by:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis on complex environmental regulations and compliance issues.
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including petitions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Representing clients before administrative agencies and courts in environmental matters.
  • Managing client communication and keeping them informed of case progress.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative legal strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain admission).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental law practice preferred.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
  • A passion for environmental protection and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in environmental litigation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
