About the position
As an Associate Attorney in our Environmental Law practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our team by:
- Conducting legal research and analysis on complex environmental regulations and compliance issues.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including petitions, briefs, and contracts.
- Representing clients before administrative agencies and courts in environmental matters.
- Managing client communication and keeping them informed of case progress.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative legal strategies.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain admission).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental law practice preferred.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
- A passion for environmental protection and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environmental litigation is a plus.
- Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
